Some of the most common questions we get about Death Battle aren’t even match-ups. They’re things like “Where can I watch blocked episodes?” “Where can I buy Death Battle merch?” “Do you have a Patreon?” So, we decided to kill three birds with one website!
This goal of this website is 3 things:
1.) An archive. All episodes of Death Battle will be hosted on the website, ad-free and unedited whenever possible. To be clear, this is NOT an SVOD. Episodes will continue to premiere on YouTube and be added to the archive a short time after.
2.) An avenue to support the show directly. This website uses a Patreon style model with 95% of your pledge going directly to Death Battle. We still love our YouTube Champions though! Our goal is for the YouTube Champions and Deathbattle.gg Members to get rewards that each service excels at specifically.
3.) A merch store. We're super excited to finally be able to offer merch! We'll have some items that stick around for a while, but others will be limited time, seasonal drops. We'll also have some cool, exclusive items for our Deathbattle.gg members, and certain levels of members will unlock discounts on the store.
If you want to support Death Battle but aren't sure it's better to do it here or on YouTube, the simple answer is "it's up to you!"
- YouTube Champions are all about community and connecting with us directly; you'll get access to the Discord, cool emojis and the ability to chat with us during Death Battle Cast, Champion exclusive livestreams, or maybe even the ability to sit in our development of new, non-Death Battle related shows*!
- Deathbattle.gg Members are all about supporting the production of Death Battle; you'll be keeping the archive alive, getting discounts on cool and sometimes exclusive merch, accessing limited-promotion windows, or even the chance to get your name in the credits of an episode for helping fund the show**!

Also, this website is currently in its infancy and mostly put together by people with very little website building/UX knowledge.
